MAFS spoiler: Who's still together based on social media clues

It has already been reported that this year's season of Married At First Sight is full of rows and rivalries, with expert John Aiken teasing a "problematic group dynamic".

And while we secretly love watching the show for its soap opera-like storylines, the cast has actually finished filming, so friendships and relationships have already been formed or broken down.

There have already been plenty of clues to some of the blow-ups, with an on-set source telling Daily Mail that a dinner party fight centred around Domenica makes Cyrell and Martha's wine throwing incident "look like a Disney Channel movie"!

Tamara is another bride who is expected to bring the drama this year, with the insider revealing that she "will go down in history as one of the most outspoken brides who has ever appeared on the series".

But until the episodes are shown, can we really tell who is buddies with who and which brides and grooms are no longer speaking?

There is always social media!

Now that the contestants have been able to make their Instagram profiles public again, we can see just who is following who to try to work out who are best buddies, who are still dating, and who are enemies for life - at the time of writing.

So let's untangle that web...

Andrew Davis - No Instagram

First off, we can report that Texan groom Andrew Davis has no social media accounts at the moment and we're going to read a lot into this one.

Andrew "Tex" Davis had a healthy Instagram account with 6,000 followers and his own personal training website late last year, according to So Dramatic.

But this year, the website has been taken down, the domain name has been parked and he seems to have disappeared from Instagram too – for now!

So, is he MAFS' newest villain? Did things go catastrophically wrong with his bride Holly Greenstein?

This isn't Andrew's first rodeo with marriage - he is twice divorced - so just what caused him to disappear just as all other contestants are taking their social media profiles off private?

Speaking of Holly, the cinema manager from NSW doesn't look like she's made too many friends this year with only Selin and Selina currently following her.

None of the grooms online are following Holly, so we suspect that she hasn't gotten her happily ever after... unless Tex has come off the socials to protect their burgeoning relationship!

Selina Chhaur - @selina_chhaur

South Australian hairdresser Selina Chhaur appears to be very popular and must be a team player, as she is followed by all of the grooms online except Jack, and all of the brides with the exception of Domenica - which is very interesting considering that Jack and Domenica are paired together.

Is their partner following them? Yes

Selin Mengu - @selinmengu_

Single mum Selin Mengu from NSW is followed by Domenica, Ella, Holly and Selina, so can we assume she was team Domenica?

And of the grooms, Jackson, Brent, Al and Cody are following her.

So, Mitch, Jack and Anthony - who she's partnered with in the experiment - decided not to keep in touch.

Samantha Moitzi - @samanthamoitzi

Queensland fashion brand manager Samantha is only followed by Tamara and Selina, while Tamara is only followed by Samantha and Selina.

So perhaps they both missed out on that elusive happily ever after!

Olivia Frazer - @olivefrazer

Teaching student Olivia is being followed by grooms Brent, Al and Jackson, who she is paired with on the show, and fellow bride Selina.

Ella May Ding - @ellamayding

Firecracker Domenica has seemingly maintained friendships with Selin, Ella and Holly.

Of the grooms, she is still in contact with Mitch and her 'husband' Jack.

Domenica's rumoured rival, outspoken Tamara, is followed only by Selina and Samantha.

Of the grooms, Jack, Mitch, Al, Cody and Brent follow Jackson. Perhaps he and Anthony come to blows?

And of the brides, Selina and his 'wife' Olivia are both following him.

Brent Vitiello - @brentleon_

Brent also seems to have kept up relationships with Cody, Jackson, Al and Mitch.

Of the brides, he has contact with Olivia, Ella, Selina and Selin.

Cody has made friends as well, with Anthony, Al, Brent, Jackson and Mitch following him.

Carpenter Al is obviously one of the guys, as all the grooms are following him.

Meanwhile, Olivia, Ella, Selina and Selin also follow him.

Selin, Ella and his bride Domenica all follow financial planner Jack, and he seems to also have made friends with Jackson, Al and Mitch.

Meanwhile, Cody, Jackson, Jack, Al and Brent are all following Mitch, as are Selina, Domenica and his bride Ella.

Anthony Cincotta - @anthonycincotta_

Of the guys, Anthony doesn't seem hugely popular, with only Al and Selina following him.

Is their partner following them? No

So, what does all of this mean?

Based solely on social media clues and who is following each other, it appears that only four couples have decided to stay in contact post-show: Domenica and Jack, Olivia and Jackson, Selina and Cody, and Ella and Mitch.

However, because Andrew doesn't have a social media presence it's currently unknown whether or not he and Holly have stayed in contact.

Only time will tell how these relationships go in the experiment, but we'll definitely be tuning in to find out!
