Married At First Sight’s Ryan Gallagher has wowed his followers on social media after revealing the dramatic results of his tattoo removal.

“Over a year now since I started removing all my tats,” he captioned the post.

“The windmill is hanging in there but should start to fade soon as well, just more ink in it than the others, still a little way to go but all should be gone soon!”

After a fan asked in the comments why he decided to remove his tattoos, Ryan replied: “They aren’t me anymore.

“They served their purpose when I was a young silly idiot, I also did 80% of them myself with an eBay tattoo gun at home, I don’t like looking at them in the mirror, luckily there’s now an option to get rid of them, I’m very thankful.”

Replying to another follower, Ryan explained that he’s “over halfway” through the process.

“Been a long journey but bloody glad I chose to make the decision over a year ago”.

“I just started my tattoo removal process and I take my hat off to you for sitting through those sessions on such a large scale! It doesn't damn tickle,” one person wrote.

‘Shivering and shaking’

Ryan’s post comes shortly after he made headlines for walking 150km from Newcastle to Sydney over three days to raise money for the McGrath Foundation while unaware that he had Covid.

“Shivering and shaking in bed the nights thinking it was heat stroke, turns out I just had Uncle Covid on the walk with me,” the I’m A Celebrity star shared on Instagram back in January.

“I did a test at the end for s***s and giggles not thinking I had it at all, I wanted a group photo everyone declined.”
