MAFS’ Patrick Dwyer shocks with body transformation: ‘Impressive!’
Married At First Sight groom Patrick Dwyer has impressed his followers with photos documenting his fitness journey on Instagram.
The personal trainer shared before and after pics on social media as a ‘Transformation Tuesday’ post, showing off his buff physique.
While Patrick’s frame looks noticeably smaller in the first image, he does the same weightlifting exercise in the second photo with more defined arms, back and shoulders.
“Yes this post is a little cocky, but it’s amazing how much you can change your body with a little bit of hard work and consistency,” the 28-year-old captioned the photo.
“Whether you change by losing weight or change by building muscle, everyone starts somewhere!
“And remember, if you don’t eat your vegetables, you won’t win money at the poker table.”
The reality star also clarified in the caption that he took the second photo before lockdown when he was doing powerlifting.

Patrick ended his post joking that he hopes the photos show that he is “much stronger” than fellow MAFS groom Jake Edwards.
“I didn’t know goal umpires did deadlifts,” Jake replied in the comments.
Fans were clearly shocked by the quirky groom’s transformation and rushed to compliment his new appearance.
“Looking good Patrick,” one person wrote.
“Wow that’s fantastic, well done,” another commented.
Someone else added “awesome job”, while a fourth said “impressive!”.
Teeth transformation
Patrick also took to Instagram last month to share the results of his dental glow-up thanks to celebrity dentist Dr Deepan ‘Dr Dee’ Duraisamy.
The MAFS star, who is still with his on-screen ‘wife’ Belinda Vickers, explained to fans why he decided to fix his teeth.
“Not going to lie, after seeing my teeth on MAFS I realised how bad they were and started to get self-conscious about my smile," he wrote.
“I did get a lot of negative comments about my teeth but it was when I personally started to dislike them that it started to bother me.”
The transformation is believed to have cost a minimum of $24,000 for the custom porcelain veneers.
