MAFS: Are Lucinda and Timothy still together?

Lucinda Light and Timothy Smith have had quite a run on this season of Married At First Sight, forming a close friendship and emotionally bonding at retreat week, leading to a breakthrough in their relationship potentially turning romantic.

With the pairing becoming an unlikely fan fave for this season, speculation is rife about whether the two are dating or just friends after they were seen spotted out and about at various events over the last couple of weeks.

In a recent interview, Timothy confirmed the two were still hanging out, but didn't reveal if their relationship had turned romantic.

"I'll give you a little bit of a thing...we were out last night. It's amazing when we go to random pubs in the middle of nowhere. How many people actually love Lu. She's just one of the most amazing people I've ever met," Timothy said to Star 104.5’s Gina and Matty. "You can't help but soften and just be a better person around Lu."

Are Timothy and Lucinda still together?

Despite the pair being spotted out and about, including being seen at a Sydney pub on Valentine's Day, various sources are saying the two aren't romantically involved.

Over on the MAFSfunny Instagram page, another theory is that some couples are being told to be seen out and about together, to keep people interested in the show until final vows.

"Channel Nine are now staging 'fan' pics with the two brides most viewers are rooting for (Andrea and Lucinda) to try to keep people invested and watching in hope," they said.

Another MAFS-dedicated page, MAFSgossip, shared a photo of the pair at a friend's barbecue in Melbourne.

However, one insider told So Dramatic that the two aren't dating but are the "best of friends".

“Lucinda and Timothy aren’t still together romantically but they are the best of friends," they said.“They catch up all the time for dinner, at least once a week, enjoy each other’s company and hang out as much as they can. They also speak on the phone daily, and Timothy confides in Lucinda a lot.”

Guess we'll have to wait and see if they actually make it to final vows or not!
