MAFS' Jackson rushed to hospital after accident: 'Bit of a shock'
The season nine groom was electrocuted at work.
While most Aussies are spending their Easter long weekends relaxing and with family, MAFS’ Jackson Lonie hasn’t been so lucky. In an Instagram story on Thursday, he told fans that he had been admitted to the hospital after a scary work accident.
Sharing a selfie from his hospital bed, the reality TV star wore a white medical gown and had a number of wires connected to his body. With a grimace, he captioned the snap with: “Not how I saw my start to the long weekend”.
Later that evening, he updated fans on his situation and explained why he ended up in hospital.
“Thank you so much to everybody who reached out to ask if I was okay,” he began. “Just had a bit of a shock, excuse the pun, I got electrocuted today at work, it was pretty hectic.”

The star added that he had gone to the hospital for “a few scans” before he was given the all clear by medical staff.
“They've just discharged me so we're all good...thank you so much to everyone who reached out, but we’re A-okay,” he finished.
The 31-year-old star works as a plumber and also makes a decent amount on OnlyFans, after following ex Olivia Frazer onto the platform.
Jackson addresses past relationship with Olivia
This comes after Jackson opened up about his relationship with Olivia.
“I want the best for Liv and hopefully she finds a nice guy because she deserves that,” he told Yahoo Lifestyle. “But yeah, unfortunately, we just kind of grew apart a little bit, which happens in life.
“We’re still very close and we're still good mates and we still talk probably once a week, so there are definitely no hard feelings there at all.”

The MAFS participant went on to say that while people expect there to be “an elaborate story” behind their split, there simply isn’t one.
“It’s been as smooth as a breakup can be, I guess,” he added. “We were just both on different paths and yeah, that’s how it goes, unfortunately. That’s life.”
