MAFS' Olivia shuts down claims Jackson 'dumped' her: 'We're adults'

After weeks of speculation, Married At First Sight star Olivia Frazer has spoken out about her split from Jackson Lonie and addressed rumours that she was “dumped”.

The OnlyFans star took to her Instagram Story on Thursday morning and responded to a follower who implied that Jackson was the one who decided to end things.

“WE SPLIT AMICABLY,” she wrote alongside three clap emojis.

“I understand people like to think that I got ‘dumped’ but it wasn’t like that at all. We're adults. We had an adult conversation about how the relationship wasn’t working for either of us and we both came to the resolution that splitting up was the only thing left to do.

“There's no ‘juicy’ story. There's no truth to the ‘haha he dumped you’ comments people say.”

Olivia and Jackson announced their split on social media in August, sharing a lengthy statement alongside a gallery of photos during their relationship.

“After a wonderful 10 months together we have decided to go our separate ways,” they wrote. “There has always been a lot of love in our relationship and there will continue to be as we transition into a friendship.

“We have nothing but love and respect for one another, and no one is to blame for the end of this relationship. Simply a case of ‘almost perfect’. We hope you all can please show compassion as we navigate this privately.”

‘I'll persevere and thrive’

Elsewhere during the Instagram Q&A, Olivia opened up about her ‘single life’ and how she’s really feeling.

“Honestly, it's crazy how much can change so quickly,” she said. “Less than a month ago my whole future was meant to be with Jackson. Now it's about rebuilding myself (yet again).

“I'm okay. I'm sad that the life Jack and I thought we were going to have is no longer a reality, but optimistic that we will both find exactly what we're looking for.

“Resilience is key. As always, I'll persevere and thrive.”

She went on to reveal that her ‘type’ is “intelligent, hard-working, naughty boys”, and her current relationship status is “full-time dog mum”.

Olivia also shared a candid response to a fan who asked her how she’d react if Jackson began dating someone new tomorrow.

“It's absolutely none of my business. Just like what I'm up to is none of his,” she replied. “I’d hope she was nice though.”
