MAFS fans slam 'fake' cheating scandal between Carolina and Daniel: 'Boring'
Just over a week after they began their secret rendezvous, things between Married At First Sight intruders Carolina Santos and Daniel Holmes heated up during Monday night’s episode when they shared their first kiss.
The pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they met up for a drink behind Carolina’s partner Dion Giannarelli’s back and shared enormous sexual tension.
“Why do you have your buttons down like that?” the Brazilian-born bride remarked about Daniel’s exposed chest.
“Because I’m trying to get naked, slowly but surely,” he candidly replied.
Carolina went on to share that she felt both a physical and emotional connection with the personal trainer that she hadn’t experienced with her ‘husband’.
“Well, cheers to us causing trouble,” Daniel declared as he went for a kiss, which was rejected at first because Carolina felt they should wait until she wasn’t wear a wedding ring.

However, the couple eventually locked lips when they said goodbye and seemingly thought they weren’t being filmed.
“You looking at me right now makes me want to kiss you,” Carolina said before they started making out.
“F**k that’s hot, I like that,” she continued, while Daniel admitted, “I’m getting horny”.
‘I feel like it’s all fake’
Although fans online have previously been entertained by the reality TV show’s infamous cheating scandals, viewers took to social media during the episode to slam the meet-up as “boring” and “cringe”.
“This cheating scandal is such a non-cheating scandal,” one person wrote, while another called it “the worst acting in human history”.
“I don’t give two s**ts about this boring cheating scandal,” a third added, followed by someone else who said, “I feel like it’s all fake”.
“Seriously so unethical with the manufactured cheating scandal,” a different user shared. “Poor Dion. It’s trashy and not actually reality TV.”
While viewers will have to wait and see how the couple’s relationship progresses in the experiment, Yahoo Lifestyle has since obtained photos of Daniel and Carolina at Sydney airport looking very cosy together and seemingly confirming that they are still an item.
The pair were seen holding hands as they walked through the terminal, occasionally stopping to engage in some PDA.
‘It was hurtful to watch’
Carolina and Daniel’s on-screen kiss comes shortly after her ‘husband’ Dion revealed to Yahoo Lifestyle that he was completely unaware of the cheating scandal during filming.
“I didn't know any of that was going on. I’m seeing it for the first time as well,” he admitted.
“So it's definitely a major kick in the gut because Carolina said a number of times that I don’t try enough or I don't go deep enough, and I would constantly go to that next level to try and please her and her requirements and needs for a relationship.
“Then to see that those secret rendezvous were happening behind my back, it was hurtful to watch, definitely.”
Married At First Sight airs at 7pm on Sunday and 7:30pm on Monday to Wednesday on Channel Nine and 9Now.
