MAFS experts blast bride Carolina for 'superficial' demands

The MAFS experts tore Carolina to shreds on Sunday night for her 'superficial' demands, with the bride seriously angering Alessandra Rampola over her comments about Latina women.

Throughout her time on the show, Carolina has left her fellow participants, the experts and viewers shocked for her reasons for not being able to connect with husband Dion.

She has continued saying the fact he doesn't eat breakfast, drink coffee or go to the gym are the reasons they haven't connected, adding she isn't attracted to him in any way.

Carolina, her fellow participants and viewers were shocked when John Aiken pulled out a notebook, listing the reasons she doesn't like Dion.

"You said he doesn’t eat breakfast whereas you like to eat breakfast. And you also said, he likes watching reality TV, whereas you like watching documentaries," he said.

"Not eating breakfast, Carolina, is not a lack of common interests."

She tried to add further excuses, "Well I like to go to the gym, he’s never set foot in the gym," also adding things like how their music taste doesn't align.

"Everything you’re saying right now is very superficial," John pointed out.

"I'm Latina, I have a temper," Carolina responded, something she brought up numerous times at the dinner party on Wednesday.

Her comment clearly didn't sit right with Alessandra, who blasted her, saying, "As a Latina woman, I can tell you, of course, we are feisty and very passionate. Never ever disrespectful and nasty and demeaning."

When Carolina attempted to blame it on English being her second language, Alessandra hit back, "Yes, it's my second language too, I'm sorry, but no. Don't even go there."

When asked for her decision, Carolina said it "was really hard", but said there wasn't more of a friendship between her and Dion, so she chose to leave.

Dion shared that he had written stay, but asked if he could change it to leave, something that wasn't permitted, leaving them in the experiment one more week.

It comes as Carolina began seeing dumped husband Daniel behind Dion's back, with Yahoo Lifestyle obtaining photos of the pair still together after the experiment finishes filming.

Viewers slammed Carolina's behaviour with one user writing, "Carolina got put in her place so bad tonight it was awesome. John and Alessandra in particular held her accountable for her BS excuses which make Dion feel terrible about himself like he's the problem. She acts like 'just let me cheat and leave me alone!'"

"F***ing hell Carolina 😂 if you fancy someone else just man up and f***ing tell Dion instead of come up with all these superficial ass excuses. It’s becoming real tiresome and aggravating to watch," another wrote.

"John getting out his Burn Book to read that mole Carolina to filth," a third joked, referencing the film Mean Girls.

"John not accepting Dion’s change of heart is despicable when you factor in that production is aware Carolina is hooking up with Daniel behind his back," someone else added. "They’re keeping him here for the drama, and his inevitable humiliation."

"Carolina: English is my second language. As if that is an excuse for being an absolute b***h," another angry viewer wrote.

"Alessandra standing up for Latina’s and Latin people 🙌 Carolina you are a nasty selfish human it has nothing to do with your heritage," someone else agreed.

"Loving seeing Carolina being shut down by Alessandra," one user added.
