MAFS' Dan moves on after splitting from controversial wedding guest

He had a short-lived marriage with Sandy Jawanda on this year’s season of Married At First Sight, and now it appears Dan Hunjas’ controversial relationship with Samantha Symes has also come to an end.

Samantha, who turned heads when she wore a busty orange corset dress to Dan and Sandy’s TV wedding, reportedly broke up with Dan via text message on Thursday after three months together.

“It's true, me and Dan have decided to end our relationship. It wasn't meant to be,” she told Daily Mail.

News of Dan and Samantha’s relationship first emerged when she posted a loved-up snap on Instagram just a few days before his wedding aired on TV. The photo showed the influencer wearing a tight leopard dress as she sat on Dan’s lap and he kissed her cheek.

The couple were then photographed on numerous dinner dates and trips to the beach - all while Dan’s relationship with Sandy played out on screen.

Dan addressed his relationship with Samantha last Tuesday during an interview with Fitzy & Wippa, where he explained they had been friends “for a couple of years” before hooking up after MAFS.

“I left the experiment in September last year and Samantha and I got together for the very first time mid-January this year,” he revealed.

“I am in a really really great place. I have an amazing relationship that I'm developing and we’re getting along with our lives.”

Dan moves on with another woman

Since splitting from Samantha, Daily Mail reports that Dan has already moved on and reunited with his ex-girlfriend and influencer Chloe Patterson.

According to the publication, the pair enjoyed a romantic dinner date on the Gold Coast a few days after Dan and Samantha called it quits.

Chloe also shared a number of snaps with Dan on her Instagram Story on Monday night, including a photo of them together with a large bouquet of flowers.

“When you change your name to ‘The Ocean’ so he buys you flowers,” she captioned the post, referring to Dan’s love of the ocean on MAFS.

She also posted a video of herself and Dan drinking wine alongside the caption: “Villainous.”
