MAFS brides targeted in illegal nude photo leak

A large number of Married At First Sight brides have had their intimate pictures and videos stolen and distributed online into an illegal ‘porn directory’.

A subreddit group dedicated to sourcing and sharing intimate content of stars of the show has now featured 14 female former stars.

The content shared on the Reddit group, which has over 11,000 members, ranges from semi-naked and topless pictures to videos of some of the contestants performing sex acts.

Yahoo Lifestyle understands that the majority of the content in the group has been stolen from the contestants’ locked OnlyFans pages, yet some of the pictures appear to have been privately leaked – possibly by hacking into personal messages or as acts of revenge porn.

It is a criminal offence to distribute intimate images of someone without their consent, and a violation of an OnlyFans creator's copyright to distribute their personal content that is behind a paywall publicly, which could lead to legal action.

Stars that have featured in the group include season five bride Ashley Irvin, season six brides Susie Bradley, Jessika Power, Tamara Joy and Ines Basic, season seven brides Vanessa Romito, Stacey Hampton, Hayley Vernon, Mishel Karen, Amanda Micallef, season eight brides Booka Nile, Alana Lister and Jamie Gardener and season nine’s Olivia Frazer.

Reddit confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle the subreddit has since been shut down after multiple outraged users reported it.

"This subreddit was banned due to a violation of Reddit’s content policy against creating or repurposing a sub to reconstitute or serve the same objective as a previously banned or quarantined subreddit," the platform wrote on its website.

The brides whose OnlyFans content has been leaked in this way each faced losing tens of thousands of dollars in lost revenue as fans were less likely to subscribe when their content was archived in a directory to 11,000 members.

Yahoo Lifestyle understands Jessika Power’s management acted fast to remove any of her content from the private group.

The 2019 MAFS star only joined OnlyFans in August last year, but has become one of the most successful brides on the platform. A source tells Yahoo Lifestyle that Jessika pulled in an estimated $200,000 on her biggest month, and she’s so popular that she regularly gets direct messages from other MAFS stars wanting to collaborate.

Hayley Vernon claims to be in the top 0.2 per cent of creators worldwide, and charges $10 per month. A source told Yahoo Lifestyle that she earns $600,000 a year by posting her X-rated content on the site.

It is believed Mishel Karen and Alana Lister earn up to $30,000 a month, while Olivia Frazer claims to be in the top 0.01 per cent of all OnlyFans creators on the platform. She recently revealed she had earned more than $200,000 since joining OnlyFans in May.
