'What?!' Ringo Starr Stuns Audience With Shocking Food Confession

Ringo Starr has lived an incredible life, but he shared something on Tuesday that had Jimmy Kimmel second-guessing whether it has really been all that great.

“I’ve never had a pizza,” the former Beatles drummer confessed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

“What?!” someone in the studio could be heard exclaiming as others in the room let out sounds of surprise.

Starr said he’d also never had curry.

“I’m allergic to several items,” he explained. “Pizza, you don’t know what they’re putting in it half the time. Or the curry. So I’m pretty strict with myself because it makes me ill immediately.”

“Wow, I used to think you had the greatest life, and now I realize mine is better,” Kimmel commented.

Starr’s pizza admission came after Kimmel had asked the musician to clarify whether certain stories about himself were true or false.

Ironically, Starr was in a Pizza Hut commercial in 1995 but never actually took a bite of his slice on camera. He’s allergic to onions and garlic, Mary McCartney, daughter of Starr’s former bandmate Paul McCartney, said on the BBC in 2023.
