Madonna Takes a Tumble at NYFW—But Fans Say She 'Managed It Like a Pro'
As both a music and style icon, Madonna is no stranger to walking in super high heels—but the 66-year-old star almost took a serious spill at New York Fashion Week.
On Tuesday, Sept. 10, the "Material Girl" was filmed by a fan arriving late to the Luar Spring 2025 Ready-to-Wear fashion show wearing a pair of over-the-knee boots with super high, narrow heels. As she walked across the empty runway, she suddenly tripped, almost falling to the ground before grabbing her security guard's jacket and steadying herself in the nick of time.
"She managed it like a pro!" an X user captioned a video of the near stumble.

The singer seemed unbothered moments later in her front-row seat, as one might expect from such a seasoned performer.
In addition to the problematic boots, Madonna wore a Luar overcoat featuring the designer’s "signature power shoulders" for the occasion, as W Magazine reported. She also carried the label's “Ana” bag in black, accessorizing with latex opera gloves, diamond necklaces, and not one, but two, pairs of sunglasses.
Madonna wasn't the only celeb at the Luar show, where she was photographed sitting next to Ice Spice—rapper Offset even walked the runway.
According to The Daily Mail, the "Vogue" songstress headed to Emilio's Ballato restaurant in Soho following the show, which is the same NYC spot where Taylor Swift, Sophie Turner, and Blake Lively went for a girls' night out last September. Absent from Madonna's entourage was rumored boyfriend Akeem Morris, 28, who was seen with the celeb in NYC on Monday.
