Nicole Kidman’s Airport Outfit Featured the Jeans That’ll Be Everywhere in 2025

I always want what Nicole Kidman has. When she relied on a Virtue hair oil to get her strands in tip-top shape for the 2024 Met Gala and then again for the 2025 Golden Globes, I knew I needed to try it. When she styled fur-lined Uggs with a cashmere wrap coat, I immediately invested in a new pair of Uggs—and a wrap coat, as well. And, now, after seeing her in cuffed, wide-leg jeans at the airport, I hit the internet and found the best cuffed, wide-leg jeans out there.

Kidman was snapped arriving at the Sydney airport, wearing a very polished-yet-comfy travel look. Honestly, her combo is pretty unexpected, but after seeing her travel from Sydney to California in this getup, I think I have to change what I consider a proper travel outfit. She opted for a blue button-front cardigan with elegant white detailing on the collar, front pockets, and sleeves. Oversized pearl buttons further added to the elegance of the top, which she styled with those jeans I can’t get off of my mind: cuffed, wide-leg blues.

Kidman’s jeans aren’t only catching my attention—they’re destined for big things all of 2025, so much so that I’m deeming it one of this year’s biggest denim trends. The actress’s pair is a medium-wash, cropped version with a cuffed, three-inch hem. It strikes the ideal balance between refined, thanks to the silhouette, and cool, thanks to the cuffed detailing. While the folded hem is a fairly subtle detailing, I personally think it totally transforms a pair of blues—and best of all, you can quite literally make any jeans you already own into a cuffed option. All you need is some safety pins and a measuring tape, and you can let your inner fashion designer shine.

Cuffed jeans are super easy to wear, too, and the iteration can be found in pretty much every silhouette imaginable. Kidman opted for a wide-leg cropped version, which is also trending for 2025, but cuffed straight-leg jeans or cuffed baggy jeans hit on the trend in a different way, depending on what vibe you’re going for. The former is more refined, while the latter option hits on the cool-girl-approved oversized denim trend, too. Sneakers, heels, flats, and more are all viable shoe options to wear with any version of cuffed jeans. Kidman went with white sneakers, a must-have travel shoe.
