Yahoo Lifestyle M&M'S Unveils First-of-Its-Kind Product Sure to Be a ‘Natural Fit’ This Holiday Season
M&M'S is making its foray into another unexpected non-food product arena—and this one may surprise its fans.
While the Mars candy brand is known for its spherical, colorful chocolate-coated candies, this holiday season it's looking to debut something totally different: a Snack Jacket.

In collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios' new action-adventure holiday movie, Red One, the company is providing everything viewers need to enjoy the motion picture in ultimate convenient comfort—something that's promised to be a "natural fit."
"When a villain kidnaps Santa Claus from the North Pole, an E.L.F. (Extremely Large and Formidable) operative joins forces with the world's most accomplished tracker to find him and save Christmas," a film synopsis reads. The holiday family flick hits theaters Friday, Nov. 15, and stars Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Chris Evans, Kiernan Shipka, Lucy Liu, J. K. Simmons, Bonnie Hunt, and more.
As for the unlikely release, the apparel item is said to be a "moviegoers dream," according to a press release shared directly with Parade, which noted that the outerwear comes equipped with "pockets for M&M'S, a popcorn bucket strap, a built-in light to help find your seat and a sleeve to dispense napkins on the go."
However, while the offer may be enticing for M&M'S superfans, there's a catch: only 14 of the garments will be released for purchase.
M&M'S x Amazon MGM Studios' 'Red One'
Two separate drops of seven jackets each (in honor of the M&M'S spokescandies) will be available on Friday, Nov. 15 for $11.75, only on MMS.com. For those who are lucky enough to get their hands on one of 14 of the coveted clothing items, though, it'll be well worth it, as the Snack Jacket also comes with a complementary annual movie pass.

"M&M'S has long been a sweet addition to many holiday festivities and movie nights, so it only makes sense the brand is spicing up the holiday season with a thrilling new collaboration," the release noted, further teasing the debut of two more products that will be up for grabs.
The Red One Exclusive Gift Bundle—inclusive of a keepsake Red One jar filled with customized M&M’S chocolate candies, a Red character barrel mug, and a sharing size bag of M&M’S Peanut Butter Milk Chocolate Candy Christmas Assortment—will be available on the brand's website as well as Amazon.
Meanwhile, limited-edition Red One snow globe-style Popcorn Buckets will also be available, exclusively at AMC Theatres.
