Lisa Curry has revealed the heartwarming way she keeps her late daughter’s love of traveling alive, bringing a piece of her along to new places she visits across the world.
The former Olympian’s 33-year-old daughter, Jaimi, passed away in September 2020 after a battle with an unnamed long-term illness, with Lisa later revealing Jaimi had been diagnosed with a ‘chemical imbalance’ as a teenager.
Since then, Lisa has kept Jaimi’s memory and spirit alive by bringing along momentos of her daughter, such as her ashes and dried petals from her funeral, to special places she visits on holiday.
Her most recent spot was on her current European vacation, where she paid tribute to Jaimi on what would have been her 36th birthday and debuted a stunning portrait of her late chid in tattoo form on her arm.

“I bought this gorgeous hand blown glass bird for Jaimis birthday . We had pretty cake with a sparkler and let her ashes fly at beautiful Ghar Lapsi, Malta,” Lisa wrote, alongside two images of the bird and a plaque dedicated to Jaimi.
In another post, Lisa wrote a heartfelt ode to her beloved eldest daughter on what would have been her birthday.
“Happy birthday to my beautiful angel Jaimi. One of the things we always did was when we saw something really pretty, a flower, leaf, door, painted toes - whatever, we would always send a photo to each other,” she wrote.
“In honour of those moments I’ve set up a new insta page so I can post pretty and beautiful things just for Jaimi. It’s a place I can share photos, thoughts, and beautiful things, hoping it can help and bring joy, hope and awe to others, as that’s what I know she wanted,” Lisa wote, alongside a link to the new @elsyandmyangel page.
“Happy 36th birthday my love. Always in my thoughts. Every sunrise, every sunset and everywhere in between.I miss you,” she finished.
Lisa has previously opened up about her grief in an interview with ABC's Australian Story last week,
Lisa – who shares her three children with former husband Grant Kenny – said she is still trying to process her grief and has been in a constant state of mourning ever since losing her firstborn.
"Jaimi was only 33, she had a whole life to live," Lisa told the cameras as she began wiping away tears.
"I haven't been able to talk about it because you can see what it does to me.
"All I've done for two years is sit and cry and eat... you know I feel like s**t.
"If it's any consolation, Grant and I were able to be with her when she took her last breath.
"We were there when she took her first breath and we were there when she took her last."
Lisa said she hoped she could help someone else by speaking about her daughter's demons.
"I'm still in a state where I'm still trying to work it out, because if I can help someone else," she said.
"Here's something that I've learnt, it might help another family. But I don't know... I can't seem to do it. It's annoying. If I knew the answers I'd be shouting them to the world.
"I just don't feel like the same person anymore. It's like your soul has changed," she said.
