Lily Collins truly is a modern-day fashion icon. She's our generation's sartorial equivalent to Audrey Hepburn and Sarah Jessica Parker in the sense that she's a style chameleon, who can truly pull off any look. From relaxed daywear to priceless couture pieces, Collins imbues them with an elegant effortlessness. It's a je ne sais quoi, if you will.

She's become widely known for the eccentric wardrobe of outfits she wears on her hit Netflix show Emily in Paris, in which she's worked with costume designers Patricia Field and Marylin Fitoussi. And while her on-screen persona, Emily Cooper, may constantly be decked out in over-the-top designer looks that throw tradition out the door, Collins herself has settled into a signature red carpet style that combines old Hollywood glamour with edgy, gothic touches. And as of late, she has been pushing the boundaries of her style further, thanks to her character's boldness.

"Emily, in a lovely way, takes up so much space," Collins exclusively told InStyle. “Mixing patterns and prints, textures, styles in a way that was foreign to me, I started to realize that I didn’t have to be afraid of color anymore.”

Here, we showcase 16 of Collins's most fearless fashion red carpet looks to date.
