Home and Away's Ada Nicodemou on 'annoying' side of relationship with James Stewart
"We're happy we're together," the Home and Away star said of her new relationship.
After finally confirming she and her Home and Away co-star and on-screen husband James Stewart are a couple, Ada Nicodemou has opened up on the 'annoying' side of their newfound love. During an appearance on Sunrise on Monday morning, the hosts asked how she felt that her new romance was now out in the open, with the star saying that it doesn't change anything for the pair.
"Look, you know, whether it's out there or not doesn't really change our relationship. You know, we're happy we're together," she said.

"You know, James is just such an amazing actor. I love working with him. That's not changed as well, so whether it's out there or not doesn't really change anything for us."
Sunrise host Matt 'Shirvo' Shirvington questioned whether the pair's working relationship had changed, with Ada saying it's easy to separate their working relationship and their personal relationship.
"We're professionals, we respect each other, we turn up to work – obviously we've got a lot of scenes together, we've always had a lot of scenes together, but no, they're very separate things, us being together and us working together," she said.
Nat Barr also asked the star whether it was annoying to be constantly followed by the paparazzi before the pair confirmed the relationship, with the Home and Away star agreeing that it's "not great."
"Yeah, you guys go through it like it is annoying," she said. "It's annoying when your children get photographed. That's not great, but it is what it is. We've chosen this industry, and that comes with all the other stuff.
"At least now maybe that it is confirmed, maybe they'll stop?"
Shirvo joked that the pair's romantic scenes are probably a bit easier now, with Ada laughing but she didn't say anything else on the matter.
Ada breaks silence on relationship with James
Ada and James were first spotted kissing on Anzac Day, a little while after both the stars' previous relationships ended. While the pair has kept quiet about the new relationship, Ada finally opened up in a new interview with Stellar about the "unexpected" romance.
"Jimmy and I are together, yes. It's only early days. It's very recent and very unexpected. I'm super happy. It's really lovely," she said.
The pair's on-screen wedding aired on April 9, just a few weeks before the couple was photographed kissing, with Ada adding that the wedding was not what brought them together.

"There weren't genuine feelings then," she said, adding the episode was shot six months prior to airing. "It was shot last year. But I think whenever you're watching any TV couple, you're always wondering if they really do have feelings."
Ada and James have known each other for some time, having met in 1998 on the Aussie drama Breakers. They've been working together on Home and Away for seven years, with James meeting his ex-wife Sarah Roberts on the show.
Sarah confirmed in March that she and James were divorced and not long after this, it was revealed that Ada had split from her ex-partner Adam Rigby just before Christmas last year.
