Home and Away star reacts to first ever scene: 'I'm so sorry'
Ada Nicodemou has now been playing Leah Poulos/Patterson/Baker/Morgan/insert-any-other-last-name-here for over 24 years.
Ada Nicodemou has shared a video reacting to her first-ever scene on Home and Away, after making her debut as Leah Poulos 24 years ago.
When Leah first appeared in Summer Bay, she was described as a "girl with a big heart, a big secret, and a big future that was all hers" after she hitchhikes her way into town. After taking a cooking job at the local diner and moving in with her future love-interest Vinnie Patterson, Leah quickly realises that her secrets won't remain hidden for too long given Summer Bay's small (and gossipy) nature.
Now we know Leah as one of the longest-serving characters on the soap, and boy has she been through the wringer: from the deaths (yes plural) of her husbands, to her surrogacy and own pregnancy storylines, to being kidnapped by a cult, and having a mental breakdown and turning a knife on her now-husband Justin Morgan, there's not a lot Leah hasn't been through.
Now Ada has uploaded a video of her reacting to her very first scene, which sees Leah nab a lift into town with Vinnie Patterson (may he RIP) after she ran away from her very first wedding (she must've known there were plenty more to come).
Home and Away fans react to Ada's flashback
Ada uploaded the video to Instagram with the caption, "Reacting to my first ever scene on #HomeandAway 🌊 Apologies for the acting 😂 What scenes do you want to see me watch next?"

In the video, Ada pokes fun at Leah's fashion and "damsel in distress" storyline, putting her hand to her forehead and exclaiming, "What's with the acting?!" after mocking one of her own lines.
"I'm so sorry, my acting is like, so bad," Ada laughed, before going on to explain she was nervous on her first day.
"I'm quite happy listening to you taking the mick out of your own voice," one fan commented.
Fans commented on the iconic scene after Ada asked what scene she should react to next, with many asking for a peek into her Heartbreak High scenes.
"I would absolutely love you to comment on any scene from Heartbreak High! I loved this show, I loved your character and all the scenes where you were acting!" one dedicated fan said. "Season 5 was particularly amazing! I remember Episode 117 when you organised a little secondhand market with Melanie because she moved to Paris....and then you sold her chair.

Ada on whether she's still in touch with Ryan Kwanten
One curious fan also asked Ada if she was still in touch with True Blood star Ryan Kwanten, who played Vinnie Patterson back in the day.
"Do you keep in touch with Ryan? Haven't seen him since True Blood," the person said. "No, I haven’t seen him in a while, but would love to," Ada replied.
