Home and Away star hints at 'dramatic' death in resurfaced clip
"Really intense, gory, everyone's crying..."
In a matter of days, Aussie actress Jacqui Purvis will be killed — on Home and Away, that is. Jacqui, who has been playing the erratic but loveable Felicity Newman for three years on the soap, reportedly filmed her last scenes earlier this year, and in the past week Home and Away has started teasing the death of a fan favourite, leading many fans to believe we're saying goodbye to Flick.
Earlier this week one fan speculated Felicity would be shot and killed in a River Boys revenge act, gone wrong. "OK now I’ve read more into it about what happens next week... Looks, like the River Boys come back for revenge for Cash for putting Rory and Dingo in jail," the fan posted in a Facebook group.
"They meant to shoot at Cash and kill him but instead they miss and shoot Felicity instead. This all happens at Eden’s and Cash’s engagement party next Monday (12th of August) leading into Tuesday!"
Now, a resurfaced interview with Jacqui has been shared and it sheds some interesting light on what she wanted for the future of Felicity.

In an old interview with Yahoo Lifestyle, filmed in 2022, Jacqui said she wanted Felicity's exit to be 'dramatic'.
"I want to be killed off, I want a really dramatic death, like a really intense, gory, everyone's crying," she said. "And yep, death, die!"
After the resurfaced interview appeared in a Facebook fan group, fans weighed in on the fate of Felicity and how sad they'll be to see Jacqui go.
"It's going to be a sad night if she dies. The worst death I watched was when Robbo died, I cried for days," one person said. "Can't kill Flick off. I was hoping Tane and Flick got back together," someone else said.
"Wish she wasn’t leaving! One of the best actresses ever!" another person commented.

"Flick, I know it’s acting but please don’t die because I will never get over that grief. Find another way of leaving the show," one fan begged, while in huge accolades, someone else commented, "All the best you have been the best actress on the show ever."
It appears as though Flick is due to meet her grisly, dramatic end next week — so stay tuned and get the tissues ready!
