Home and Away fans left outraged by 2024 finale: 'Worst ever'

Many Home and Away fans have been left unhappy with the 2024 finale, with the feature-film length episode providing very little answers and very little drama until the last five minutes.

The mammoth episode, which started at 7pm and went until 8:30pm promised "bloodshed" and "deadly consequences" and while it ended with two lives hanging in the balance — Harper's baby and Tim the questionable psychologist — fans were left disgruntled that not a whole lot happened for most of the episode.

The show is set to return on January 13 and pick up where it left off, with Justin discovering Cash at the scene of what appears to be a violent crime, with Tim lying next to Cash covered in blood and unresponsive.

While fans eagerly await answers, they're still quite disappointed by last night's much-hyped finale.

Home and Away fans slam 2024 season finale: 'Worst ever'

With all the drama condensed to the last 5-10 minutes, Home and Away fans weren't thrilled. "Found the last episode so boring and predictable," one fan said. "How many more coppers are going to end up in jail?"

"I have to say, that was ridiculously s**t for a season finale," another complained. "The best bit was the last 15 seconds."

"That was the worst ending," someone else said, with another agreeing. "What an absolute disappointment for this year's final episode. Love Home and Away, but this was by far the worst final episode of the season ever."

"I was so disappointed with the ending," another fan said. "I expected it to be more drama/suspense but it was quite boring in my opinion. Now an almost 2 month wait for the show to return."

Yet, Home and Away fans are known for their loyalty and are still eagerly awaiting the 2025 series return

"I'm so excited for the new season," one fan said. "What am l going to do without this lol it’s pretty sad when you so look forward to it at 7pm," another lamented. "I can't believe I've got to wait till next year, it's already killing me," someone else agreed.
