Channel Seven announced the Dancing with the Stars lineup on Thursday, including popular Aussie celebrities such as MasterChef’s Matt Preston, Home and Away’s Emily Weir and former footballer Gavin Wangneen.

The network has also managed to land The Bachelor star Laura Byrne for a hefty fee, with the hopes that she will boost ratings. On top of her media commitments, Laura also shares two young children with husband Matty J, so producers had to fork out a rumoured fee of $75,000 to convince her to join the show.

A show insider tells Yahoo LIfestyle: “Laura is one of the biggest names this year, and negotiated a deal believed to be around $75,000.

“She has a huge following online, a national radio show and co-hosts one of Australia’s most popular podcasts — so Channel Seven know having her on will give the ratings a boost and is a big draw.”
