Major label launches colourful new range of curvy fashion

From bucket hats to sneakers, the Taking Shape x Elverina Johnson collab has something for everyone.

It's the collab everyone's talking about. Leading fashion brand Taking Shape has partnered with First Nations Artist Elverina Johnson to launch their second limited edition collection.

The vibrant range is based on Elverina's original print design of Ngawayu Buluru, or Turtle and Reef Story. It brings together traditional aboriginal storytelling and fashion, highlighting the importance of the Great Barrier Reef at the same time.

The print is designed to show the colourful heart of the ocean. It focuses on the turtle, a protected species, and aims to raise awareness of the importance of the reef as the turtle's natural habitat.

The limited-edition collection features easy-to-wear casual pieces that are designed to bring a splash of colour into your daily wardrobe. They include leggings, a bomber jacket, sneakers and swimwear. All the pieces are available in sizes 12 to 30.

Here are some of the collection highlights:

Ngawayu Buluru Kimono and Ngawayu Buluru Swimsuit

This soft kimono has three-quarter bell sleeves, with an open front. The side splits make it the perfect casual cover-up.

To make a serious statement, pair it with the v-neck swimsuit. This has adjustable straps and is made from a smooth, stretchy fabric that's extra flattering.
