Yahoo Lifestyle Lainey Wilson and Boyfriend Devlin 'Duck' Hodges Match in Black Blazers and Cowboy Hats at 2024 CMA Awards
Wilson had the support of her man before heading into country's biggest night as a first-time host, performer and four-time nominee
Lainey Wilson is making a style statement at the 2024 CMA Awards — and she's got her love Devlin 'Duck' Hodges to do it with!
On Nov. 20, the country star, 32, and her boyfriend, 28 and a former NFL quarterback, took date night to the country music awards show dressed in coordinating all-black looks. The two made their red carpet debut at the 2023 ACM Awards.
Wilson, who made her hosting debut, wore a Zuhair Murad suit consisting of a tailored black blazer with beaded embellishments and sheer wide-leg pants, which were a sexy take on her signature bell-bottoms. She accessorized her silky button-up with a bolo necklace and also rocked feathery earrings and a flat-brim hat.
Hodges spruced up in a black turtleneck, blazer and trousers. He also wore statement jewelry, a cowboy hat and black boots.
In addition to her hosting duties, Wilson was also nominated in four categories. The "Hang Tight Honey" singer was up for single of the year, entertainer of the year, female vocalist of the year and music video of the year.
She changed into a sparkly pinstripe blazer for her co-hosting duties with Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan.

In a featurette video of the singer and her co-hosts Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning that PEOPLE exclusively premiered before the show, Wilson called the event a “country music family reunion.”
"A lot of these people that are nominated and winning, they're people who have helped me along the way. It's just a big time to celebrate each other," said Wilson, who won the top prize of entertainer of the year in 2023.
On the fashion front, it's been another year of flared pants for Wilson.

Wilson wore a flowing blue and green floral long-sleeve jumpsuit with a navy belt and statement gold earrings to the event. The bottom of the outfit resembled a skirt, but Wilson revealed that it was actually a floatier version of signature flared pants style.

Wilson wore Carolina Herrera at last year’s CMA Awards, as well. She sported a black Carolina Herrera strapless jumpsuit that featured wide ruffled pant hems.
The singer’s signature pants are intentional. “A few years in [to her music career], I realized pretty quickly that as a decent female singer-songwriter, that's not enough. I needed to do something that made me stand out and stand apart,” she told PEOPLE in 2023.
She vowed to wear bell-bottoms “every single day.” She conceded that she wouldn’t count any specific clothing out yet, adding a lot of people have never seen her in a dress.

The 58th Annual CMA Awards broadcast live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 20 from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. on ABC. The show streams the following day on Hulu.
