Kmart item solves common workplace problem: 'I’m loving mine'
Office workers are loving the mini LED cooler for one specific reason.
There's a new Kmart gadget that shoppers have become obsessed with in the lead up to Christmas, and for some people, it's the perfect office or road trip accessory.
Kmart is well-known for its frugal prices, sure, but the retail brand has been capitalising recently on its mini range, and the ideas aren't just ending at kitchen gadgets like the mini jaffle maker or the mini waffle maker. The budget retailer has a new mini item that you may just want to nab to spruce up your office space and make sure you're always in arms reach of a beverage, making it the perfect summer buy.
You may not have ever known you wanted it, but chances are you may need it now — say hello to the mini LED cooler and make all your coworkers jealous.
Kmart mini cooler solves 'awkward' office problem
Many shoppers are pretty stoked with the product, with the store promoting it by captioning a TikTok, "Say hello to refreshing drinks all day with the $69 Mini LED Cooler".
While, sure, it can hold up to SIX drinks according to Kmart (though some disagree, more on that later), a lot of users have been left excited about the cooler's multi-use purpose.
"Wait, this fridge would be so good for my insulin and I can baby latch lock it," one person commented.
"I would buy this to put my lunch in it so I can avoid the tea room," another person joked. Or maybe it wasn't a joke, no judgement. It would absolutely solve the problem of any awkward kitchen chat, making it worth the cash right there.

"I got two for my kids for Christmas to put water bottles in when they need cold drink," one parent commented, while another enthused shopper simply said, "I have it and I’m loving mine!"
"It’s hands down the best thing in my classroom… you can put it cans and it will cool them. Milk, lunch… chocs," another person commented. "I’m 100% filling it with chocolates," someone else replied.
Not all shoppers were happy with the product
"That price is a joke," one person commented. "Two cans for $69?" another queried.
Kmart was quick to refute the comments saying the fridge looked like it wouldn't store more than two cans of soft drink.
"It can fit up to six cans," the store commented. "You can view more details on our website."
"For $69 I can fill up my REAL REFRIGERATOR with a lot of drinks," someone else pointed out.

Other Kmart shoppers jumped into the thread to warn consumers that the mini cooler could come at the risk of increasing their power bill.
"I had similar to this, trust me thing runs your power bill up!" one person commented. "Someone commented it costs $3.10 to run a day," another replied. "I’ll stick to a small esky or cool lunch bag."
"That literally wastes more electricity than an actual real fridge. While barely cooling. Get yourself a real mini fridge," another person ranted.
