The two artists' hit ballad earned a gramophone trophy at the 2025 ceremony in Los Angeles on Feb. 2. During their heartfelt speeches, Mars, 40, thanked Gaga, 38, for the chance to work together.
"I'm so honored to be a part of this song with you. I'm so honored to have a small part in your giant musical legacy, and I really, truly believe that God gave us the song to sing together," he said. "So thank you so much."
For her part, Gaga gushed about the "Uptown Funk" singer: "Bruno, you are an incredible human being. You're a musician for the ages. I don't know music without Bruno."

“Bruno and I have a lot of mutual respect for each other and were talking about collaborating," Gaga gushed in a statement when the song dropped. "I was finishing up my own album in Malibu and one night after a long day he asked me to come to his studio to hear something he was working on."
The musicians wound up staying up all night to write and record the song. "Bruno’s talent is beyond explanation," Gaga added. "His musicianship and vision is next level. There’s no one like him."
Meanwhile, the "Marry You" artist called Gaga "an icon, and she makes this song magical. I’m so excited for everyone to hear it."
"If the world was ending, I'd wanna be next to you / If the party was over, and our time on Earth was through / I'd wanna hold you, just for a while / And die with a smile," Gaga and Mars, who are both up for two Grammys this year, belt in the passionate chorus.
Released in August, the song hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in January.
The Grammys are broadcasting live on CBS from the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles and streaming on Paramount+.
