Kyle Sandilands, 48, slams rumours he's dating 33-year-old PA

Shock jock Kyle Sandilands surprised audiences in a different way last week when he announced his split from long-time girlfriend, Imogen Anthony, on air.

Rumours have since circulated that the 48-year-old has been getting close to 33-year-old PA, Tegan Kynaston, but reps for Kyle have blasted that speculation as completely false.

The talk of a workplace romance first cropped up when unnamed sources spoke to several news outlets, including Woman’s Day, suggesting a relationship was blooming between the pair.

“Kyle has fallen for his personal assistant, Tegan. Everyone in Kyle's inner circle, including Imogen, has known about the relationship for a while, and given that Kyle and Imogen haven't lived together for most of the past year, I'm surprised the news hasn't come out before this,” a source told the magazine.

Further fanning flames was the fact that Kyle and Tegan were seen together in LA in the wake of the fallout from his Virgin Mary comment that rocked the radio show earlier this year – although as his assistant, it can be assumed that her presence at such a time may have been part of her job.

Tegan has been contacted for comment.

Now Kyle’s manager has spoken out, telling The Daily Mail the rumours are completely fabricated.

“It’s utterly ridiculous,” he told the news site, describing the story as “fabricated garbage”.

Kyle Sandilands split with his girlfriend of eight years, Imogen Anthony, saying their relationship had ‘run its course’.

He confirmed the sad news on his KIIS FM radio show on November 5th, choking up as he made the announcement to his fans.

“We haven’t been living with each other for quite a few months now, unfortunately, it’s run its course,” he started.

“Just when you start to think everything’s good...

“We won’t be going into any detail about anything,” he said to co-host Jackie, who recently went through her own separation from her husband Lee Henderson.

Kyle and Imogen had been dating since 2011, after meeting at Kyle’s 40th birthday, and two years ago they bought a farm in the NSW town of Robertson, said to be worth $3 million.
