Kyle Sandilands and Sydney’s richest residents targeted in high-profile burglaries
Kyle revealed on the Kyle and Jackie O Show that intruders were on the grounds of his property in the early hours of the morning.
Kyle Sandilands and several other high-profile residents of Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs had their homes targeted by a team of burglars in the early hours of Tuesday morning. Police descended on the affluent suburb of Vaucluse at approximately 2:30am following reports that three men had broken into several properties on the same street.
On Tuesday morning, Kyle revealed on the Kyle and Jackie O Show that he’d been woken up by his personal security after an alarm went off alerting him to intruders being on the grounds of his property.
“The guys were on the run, three of them. There were 30 cops on the street with dogs, jumping over fences,” Kyle explained to his co-host Jackie O Henderson. “We’ve got billionaires [on my street], we had the Murdochs, the guy who owns DoorDash or one of those delivery apps.”
Yahoo Lifestyle understands the thieves did not enter Kyle’s property, and fled the area following break-ins at his neighbours' properties.
Kyle explained on-air that he does not believe that the police have caught the men yet.

Kyle Sandilands had only just returned to Australia last weekend, after spending over two weeks living it up in the US where he broadcast his KIIS FM radio show with his co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.
The pair, who have been struggling to make their mark in the Melbourne market after launching earlier this year, spared no expense as they spent time in Las Vegas and Los Angeles alongside Kyle’s wife Tegan, their son Otto and three members of their radio team.
Yahoo Lifestyle estimates the shock jock’s luxurious trip came with a price tag of around $250,000 after splurging on first-class flights, luxury rentals and an armed security team.
During his time in California, Kyle rented an award-winning eight-bedroom mansion on Beverly Hills’ exclusive Trousdale Place - which comes with a price tag of $80,000 (US$55,000) a month.
