Jackie O's major career announcement: 'Speaking the truth'
Aussie radio star Jackie O Henderson is ready to reveal all.
Aussie radio star Jackie 'O' Henderson has revealed her upcoming memoir, The Whole Truth, which is set to be released in late-October. The 49-year-old is saying there are things in the book that she's never spoken about publicly before.
“There’s just a lot. I wouldn’t even know where to start,” she said this morning on the Kyle & Jackie O show when asked about what fans can expect from the book. “Like, there’s things in there that I’ve never talked about, because I just haven’t felt like I am ready to talk about them."
Jackie said she goes into her past marriages and "a lot" of other things. “All the things you’ve wanted to know are in there now," she teased.
While over her career Jackie has in some ways been an open book (no pun intended) when discussing things like money, parenting, and some dating tales, she admitted to being excited albeit slightly terrified for people to be able to read her memoir, with the book said to be a candid look into body and health issues, salary, parenting, and relationships.

"There’s a lot I’ve shared on radio throughout the years, but there’s an equal amount I haven’t,” Jackie wrote on Instagram alongside the book announcement.

"Endless hours and months were spent sitting on this couch revisiting all the highs and lows and there were times I thought about abandoning it altogether, mostly out of fear, fear of judgement I guess," she continued.
"But I’ve realised it’s better to own every part of me, even the parts I’ve struggled to speak about before, because speaking the truth brings more peace than hiding from it ever could. I’m so proud to share my story and give you all of me in this book."
Fans and friends applauded the star for her achievement and honesty.
"Congrats beauty… it’s not easy to share that stuff. Can’t wait," former Bachelor star Brittany Hockley said, while another Bachie alum also shared their well-wishes. "Well said! Congratulations lovely, can’t wait to read it," Irena Srbinovska wrote.
