$6 Kmart buy doubles wardrobe space: 'Brilliant'

If you've been doing your fair share of lockdown online shopping, or perhaps you just need a bit more space in your wardrobe then this $6 Kmart buy might be for you.

As demonstrated in a video by TikTok user @thefoxesden__, the Double Hang Closet Rod can double your closet space in one easy step.

The handy contraption works best if you've got a wardrobe with a hanging rail that's positioned up high, leaving a lot of dead space underneath.

This is where the Double Hang Closet Rod comes in. It looks like a normal wardrobe hanger rail but is suspended on two 86cm rods on either end that hook over the existing hanging rail above.

And just like that, you've got a second rail to hang things like tops, shirts and jumpers without having to drill anything into the wardrobe or wall.

Over on Facebook, Kmarts fans were pretty impressed with the huge difference just one cheap and cheerful item could make.

"I bought these too and it’s the best $6 I have ever spent," wrote one in the comments.

"Brilliant, you can have twice as many tops hanging up, definitely going in my wardrobe," added another.

"Have these in my kids' wardrobes. Easy for them to choose clothes," said a third.
