'Dream pantry' makeover using $25 Kmart must-have goes viral on TikTok

An Aussie woman's pantry makeover using some popular buys from Kmart has blown up on TikTok, with one particular item dubbed an absolute 'game changer' when it comes to kitchen cupboard organisation.

Renei Koko, from Queensland, shared a video of her two-day pantry 'upgrade' on TikTok, which has now been viewed over 3M times.

All up she spent $285 on products from Kmart - including different-sized glass containers, a spice stand and jars, wooden trays, and strip lights inside the pantry.

But her use of the $25 Kmart Chrome Pull-out Drawer Sliding Organiser to organise the snacks had plenty of people wanting to rush to the popular store themselves.

"This is next level," one person commented.

"You took it that step further and added slide-out shelves and friken’ lights. I love it," was another response.

The pull-out organisers were the most expensive item she needed for her pantry makeover, with the 29-year-old calling them a "game changer".

"It’s to make better use of the space, because it’s so low you have to bend down," she told news.com.au.

"I did it more as a function so it is easier to be accessible and easier to maintain."

Overall the transformation took her a few hours over two days, as she had to return to the store once to get more containers.

"It was organised before but it wasn’t aesthetically pleasing," she added.

The final result was labelled "satisfying" by plenty of others, with one person writing: "OMG my dream pantry!"

A few people mused that now things just had to be put back to where they belong by everyone in the house, to which Renei also replied in a comment.

"Can happily announce everything is still in its place," she said.
