When regular lingerie is unable to be hidden underneath clothing items such as backless dresses, people turn to adhesive options.

Kmart fans were quick to share horror stories surrounding this item, sending other group members into stitches.

“Works well if you don’t have mum boobs. I tried them and they looked like rolled up tacos,” one person quipped.

“If your boobs are bigger than a C cup it’s like you’ve folded a fitted sheet!” added a second.

“[Mine were] kind of like a folded up sock lol, or that first pancake that is always deformed and sticks to the pan,” a third wrote.

“If I used these and they let go there would be injuries to myself and anyone within arms length,” another joked.

According to the Kmart website, the ‘underwear solution’ made from nylon, elastane and polyester will provide ‘lift and support’.

The odd shopper did say that the item worked for them, and at just $6 it could be worth giving it go.

“I tried these last night! They could definitely work if put on correctly with a decent size boob. So sticky, it does hurt a little bit to pull off,” one person wrote.

“My 19 [year old] wears these under her ice skating costume and loves them,” another wrote.

“I used them with tape in a halter neck type dress. They worked but I wouldn’t go jumping up and down (C size cup),” a third chimed in.

Others suggested trying Booby Tape, which Kim Kardashian has famously used in the past.

“Also recommend buying nipple covers when using Booby Tape, otherwise you’ll lose half your nipple and your soul when peeling off the tape,” a shopper warned.

“I second this, the pain is worse than childbirth (speaking from experience),” another chimed in.

“My daughter used gaffer tape once. Yep, she lost a fair bit of skin. Hard lesson to learn,” a third wrote.
