The spooky season is well and truly upon us, and according to social media, Kmart is the place to go for all your Halloween decorations. The retailer has gone above and beyond as Halloween increases in popularity in Australia year after year.

TikTok users have been obsessed with Kmart's $25 Animated Mist Cauldron, which emits a colourful mist, giving the illusion of bubbling potions. Perfect if you're in your witchy era!

TikToker @inhertime wrote of the cauldron, "Ah, the bewitching hour approaches, and I find myself compelled to dash—well, glide—through the aisles of Kmart. A witch’s mist cauldron awaits, perfect for conjuring enchantments and delightfully dark decor. A simple necessity for any respectable home this Halloween."

"Girl, I don't need any signs to run to Kmart. It just happens," one user jokingly replied.

"I counted my money and I am running straight to Kmart in the morning and buying this!!!" another said. "It's a must for my room!"

"They sell out very quick!" a third cautioned, while a fourth excitedly said, "NO WAY I'M SPRINTING."

The original poster also offered some advice to make the mist even more impressive, saying, "I found putting it under the ceiling fan or near an open window with a breeze makes it so much better."

"I used mine on my front steps last year and the fog drifted around the stairs," one person shared.

Many also questioned whether you can put essential oils inside the cauldron, but this is not advised.

Some also complained that it is "very messy", with one user saying, "The only downfall with that cauldron is they did them last year and it spurts water out all around. It doesn’t just make mist, it spits water out, very messy."
