Kmart shoppers divided over $12 Halloween decoration: 'Absolute rubbish'

Kmart shoppers have been left divided over the retailer's spooky Halloween decorations. While some love Kmart's $12 3-Pack LED Halloween Candle Set, others have been left less than impressed.

Speaking about the new Halloween decor at the budget retailer, one Facebook user asked others for their reviews of the candle set, with one person responding, "I bought them and they are crap, absolute rubbish. Don’t waste your money."

They added, "The candles are so dim and they chew through the batteries sooooo fast."

However, another replied, "Do it I’m obsessed I bought two packets!"

"I have them, they are cute! The lights flicker giving that spooky feel," a third agreed.

"We have them! They look really cool lit up!" someone else added.

Kmart has so much new Halloween decor and several other candle options, including one that looks like a cauldron, a pumpkin, and a skull. The retailer also has a black version of its viral sprinkles candle, which has 'trick or treat' written across it.

There are also mugs in the shape of pumpkins, ghosts and black cats, but one of the most popular items on TikTok is the Animated Mist Cauldron, which is $25 and it emits a colourful mist, giving the illusion of bubbling potions.

TikToker @inhertime wrote of the cauldron, "Ah, the bewitching hour approaches, and I find myself compelled to dash—well, glide—through the aisles of Kmart. A witch’s mist cauldron awaits, perfect for conjuring enchantments and delightfully dark decor. A simple necessity for any respectable home this Halloween."

"Girl, I don't need any signs to run to Kmart. It just happens," one user jokingly replied.

"I counted my money and I am running straight to Kmart in the morning and buying this!!!" another said. "It's a must for my room!"

"They sell out very quick!" a third cautioned, while a fourth excitedly said, "NO WAY I'M SPRINTING."

Some, however, complained that it spurted water everywhere, with one user saying, "Bought it and it sucked. No matter what level the water was it kept spitting out."
