We've said it once, we'll say it again – Kmart is in its slay era. The budget retailer has done it again with their Iggy Side Table, which is just $39 and is a dupe for the $390 Ziggy Stump from Fenton & Fenton.

The tables both feature a unique silhouette that creates a stylish accent piece for a bedroom or living space. The Fenton & Fenton version comes in several colours, but the Kmart version only comes in a sage green.

And while the green is quite nice, Brisbane-based interior stylist @stylingdiarieswithtash shared a video of how she transformed the table to suit the colours in a bedroom and living space.

"If you love a good dupe, keep watching, I ran to Kmart to pick the Iggy Side Table up for $39, it's a dupe for the Fenton & Fenton Ziggy Stump," she says in the video posted to her social media. "Now, for $390 it's just not in my budget, but I've always loved it.

"I love the funky shape and the fun colours it comes in, so I went to Bunnings and grabbed some spray paint and got to work. I got a chocolatey brown and a baby pink."

She added that she loves the Squirts brand of spray paint because "it gives great coverage" and she only needed one can, whereas the other one needed a few more coats.

"But look how cute this one looks in my guest bedroom, I love pairing browns with pinks and purples and it looks so similar to the original but without the high price tag," she said. "The baby pink I absolutely love, I'm going to do a couple more coats over it, but I'm so happy with these dupes."

Her followers loved the way she upgraded the Kmart item, with one writing, "Ooh love this hack! Great idea."

"Such a good idea!" another said.

"I need to get me an Iggy," a third wrote.

"Is there anything Kmart can't dupe," someone else added.

"Omg your spray painting convinced me, I was like ugh Kmart with the ugly colours but now..." another said.

Others said it was "genius", and some laughed at the fact Kmart named their version Iggy.
