Kmart fans go wild over $99 item that's better than $200 competitor: 'Won't regret it'
"Who else just went online and purchased one after reading this?"
Kmart fans have gone wild over the $99 Spot Cleaner that they believe is better than its big-name competitor Bissell, whose SpotClean machine is double the price at around $200 (though there are deals to be had across different websites).
One Facebook user gave the product a huge shout-out this week, showing before and after photos of their couch, which had completely transformed after being cleaned by the $99 product.
"Thank you Kmart spot cleaner!!! Honestly didn’t think these old water stains would come out!!!" the happy customer wrote alongside the photos.
"We need one ASAP," one user responded, tagging a friend.
"Wow, looks brand new," another said of the couch.
"Wow! What chemical did you use pls?" a third asked, with the original poster replying that she had used a small amount of Dr Beckmann Floor Carpet Stain Remover, which is $12, but was looking at purchasing Bissell's SpotClean liquid, which retails for around $20.

"Who else just went online and purchased one after reading this post 🤭," another questioned the group.
"I think it's time we made that investment, still not a bad review have I seen," someone else added.
Indeed, reviews on the Kmart website are very positive and sit at 4.7 out of five stars.
"Was so much better than expected worth every cent!" one excited reviewer said.
"I literally love it," another wrote. "I’ve used it on the carpet, couch and in my car and it’s been so good!! So satisfying to use too!!"
"I bought the spot cleaner initially to tackle pet stains and expected it would clean the carpet to an ok level but wow didn’t expect how great it cleaned," a third said. "In all honesty, it cleans so much better than my big carpet shampooer does in fact it puts it to shame. The carpet cleaner is easy to assemble and very easy to use and highly recommend it. It's a purchase you won't regret."
Kmart fan issues 'warning'
However, one fan shared on Facebook that not having professional cleaner to do big items like couches can have its downsides.

"Just a warning, as my partner is a professional carpet and upholstery cleaner," they began. "These machines inject lots of water and don’t have enough power to suck it all out. If you use this cleaner often, you may be drenching the inside of your couch and cause mould down the track.
"If you start getting a musty smell coming from your couch it would be replacement time as you can not kill the mould in the padding of the couch. For reference my partners machine cost him $3800 and the chemical he uses cost over $200 a bottle, so if it seems expensive to get a professional to do it trust me there stuff is far more superior to this."
