Kmart drops stunning rattan range - but shoppers fume over one detail
Kmart has just dropped a new line of rattan furniture and while excited shoppers can’t wait to get their hands on it, there’s one problem.
Shoppers have flooded the Kmart website to nab the new range after the popularity of their last rattan range disappeared from shelves super fast.
“I need all of this for my house,” one excited shopper said on the Kmart Inspired Homes Facebook page.
“Omg how cool are they,” added another.
“I’m in heaven,” commented a third.
Included in new the range is a rattan hall table for $129, a rattan chest of drawers for $169 and a rattan entertainment unit for $119.

However, the most popular item by far is the rattan day bed for $399 which shoppers are completely lusting over.
“Love the daybed,” one person said, with another adding “it’s exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
The day bed can be used as a single bed or as a comfy outdoor or indoor couch. It does not include the mattress.
Shoppers frustrated by big problem
But the sought-after budget furniture range might be hard to come by.
Shoppers won’t find the furniture line in Kmart stores, instead, the range will be an online exclusive only.
The new drop of rustic pieces featured on the website isn't available yet though and each one is currently labeled as “coming soon”.
While a small number of shoppers had been lucky enough to order some already, others weren’t so lucky.
“Not that it’s ever available to purchase! Changes from coming soon to out of stock online and stays that way,” one annoyed customer said
“Oh I’m so sick of seeing coming soon,” added another.
“Shame it’s all online, shipping is a killer!” A third person said.
What Kmart says
The Kmart website says the range is “subject to availability, this product is available for purchase in NSW, QLD, VIC, WA, and the North Island of New Zealand.”
The website also says that some of the online exclusives are “exempt from free shipping”.
Kmart’s Rattan cabinet and sideboard which dropped earlier this year sold out completely when first released across stores. There were extensive online delays on the in-demand product too.
So if shoppers want to get their hands on this line, it seems they had better keep an eye on the Kmart website!
