Kmart shoppers rush to buy 'gorgeous' $9 shirt before it sells out
Whether buttoned, unbuttoned, tucked in or left loose, Kmart’s beige corduroy shirt is a certified hit with style-savvy shoppers — so much so, it’s nearly sold out online.
It’s easy to see why thanks to its wallet-friendly price of just $9 (down from its original $18) making it affordable enough to snap up one in both hues: ‘Peanut,’ a sandy brown, and a wine-inspired ‘Shiraz’.
That’s if there’s any left, that is — at last check, there were limited sizes remaining in both colours on Kmart’s website.
Various fashion influencers have taken to Instagram to share pics of how they’re wearing the popular item, with Maria from @thebudgetsavvygirl using her shirt to break up an all-black outfit.
“The texture of this shirt adds a bit more edginess to it,” she wrote alongside a snap of herself wearing black boots, skirt and top with the unbuttoned shirt overtop.

Angel, from @styling_mumandbub, appears to have picked up the shirt back in July, revealing that she opted for a size 12 ‘for a more oversized look’.
She went for an effortlessly chic look by leaving the shirt half-untucked from her brown jeans and the sleeves casually rolled up.
In her photo, Louisa from @louisa.sabrina went for a breezy, Spring vibe; “I am most looking forward to wearing it like this casually over linen shorts and a crop once it gets bit warmer,” she explained in the caption.
Gen from @thisisgenevieve_ wowed her followers by tucking her shirt into a pair of light-wash denim jeans which she paired with black leather slides and gold jewellery.
“I got this shirt recently and I absolutely love it!” one fan wrote in the comments.
