KFC introduces hottest burger ever - and a new secret menu item

Chilli lovers rejoice, KFC's Fiery Zinger burger is back and it's hotter than ever. While die-hard fans might remember the original from 2016, KFC promises the new Fiery Zinger burger will pack even more heat.

The "fuego" new snack features the Colonel's signature Zinger fillet, crisp lettuce and a spicy hot sauce loaded with eleven different types of chilli including the infamous Carolina Reaper.

New item on 'secret' menu

The spicy new twist on a classic will be available in KFC stores around the country from Tuesday (along with its regular and Supercharged cousins). That's not all though, fans of the cult-favourite KFC Double might be able to find an extra-special treat hidden on the KFC Secret Menu too.

That's right, the Colonel is doubling down, announcing the monster hot Fiery Double. The new "burger" features two golden Zinger fillets playing the role of bun, and is packed with bacon, cheese and a double dash of Supercharged sauce plus the 11-chilli fiery hot sauce.

Test your limits

Tami Cunningham, Chief Marketing Officer at KFC Australia says the new burger is ideal for anyone who likes it extra hot. "We know so many Aussies like their meals to pack a punch," Ms Cunningham said. 

"The Fiery Zinger Burger is perfect for fans looking to satisfy their heat cravings or test their limits. Delivering a fresh take on iconic KFC flavours, the hottest burger from the Zinger range is sure to delight Aussies with a unique KFC eating experience that truly brings the heat."

Tami finished with a warning to fans who tend to leave things until the last minute: "Get in quick, as you never know when it'll be back again," she said.
