KFC just launched a fried chicken fan's dream merch range
Fast food, but make it fashion.
The Met Gala is over for another year, but high-fashion looks are still being served thanks to *checks notes* KFC. Yup, Australia's fave fast-food joint has just launched Kentucky Fried Couture, an exclusive merchandise range for those of us who appreciate the genius combo of an Ultimate Box.
With over 20 items available, including sweaters, T-shirts, socks, track pants and a bucket hat (of course), profits from the collection will go to improving the mental wellbeing of young Aussies through the KFC Youth Foundation and charity partners The Black Dog Institute, ReachOut Australia and Whitelion.
The KFC-branded apparel line made its grand debut at a Sydney runway launch, with a diverse cast of models donning the pieces, which range in price from $20 to $90.
"We're so excited to put KFC on the runway ahead of Sydney Fashion Week," KFC Australia's Chief Marketing Officer Sally Spriggs said, following in the footsteps of KFC in the UK, where merch drops consistently sell out within minutes.
