Kelly Ripa's Daughter Lola Wore One of Her Old Dresses in a Sentimental Tribute

It's always a dream for a girl to be able to shop her mother's closet. Well, Lola Consuelos just did so for a special reason, and her mom Kelly Ripa shared all the details about the unexpected fashion moment.

Back in August, the Live With Kelly and Mark star was honored as a Disney Legend at the media conglomerate's annual D23 event. She brought husband Mark Consuelos and Lola along as her guests, where the trio posed for photos on the red carpet. Well, when speaking about the moment on the September 3 episode of the ABC daytime series, Kelly revealed a surprising detail. It turned out the sleeveless, floor-length, wine-colored gown Lola donned for the induction ceremony came from a very special place — Kelly's own closet.

"That dress that Lola was wearing is 30 years old," Kelly shared with the audience, per People. "That was my dress from 30 years ago. So I thought that was pretty cool... I was like [to Mark], 'See? Price per wear!'"

While the All My Children alum didn't reveal the designer of the gown or where she initially wore it, Kelly has been known to keep some staple pieces from back in the day.

Back in April, Kelly joked on the air that she has a 35-year-old Gap nightgown that she loves to wear with a pair of jeans. And an even more surprising fact? She's worn a number of vintage pieces while on camera, like a cream-colored midi skirt she showed off back in June.

"I found this skirt in the closet downstairs," Ripa told the audience at the time, while pairing the skirt with a white button down top, per People. "We figure it's probably about 20 years old, and we rolled the dice. And you know, we buttered up my legs and we wedged me into it. But I just realized as I sat down in the chair — skirt might not make it."

Can we have a peek at Kelly's closet, please?
