Kate Hudson opened up about her favorite Taylor Swift album and song while appearing on SiriusXM for their Guest DJ Campaign.

While picking the final song of her set on The Pulse, Hudson, 45, said of the "Down Bad" singer, "I absolutely adore her and it's hard to pick which Taylor Swift song, but I think I'm gonna go with one from 1989, which is one of my favorite albums of hers."

She went on to say that her daughter also enjoys the album and is "obsessed" with the song "Welcome to New York."

However, Hudson opted for "Out of the Woods," which she described as "killer."

The actress and singer, who recently released her debut album Glorious, also raved about Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton’s new song "Purple Irises," saying, "I love this song. I love them. Gwen is just one of the great people in the world. I just have loved her forever."

The SiriusXM campaign features 70 different entertainers, including Hudson, James Corden, Howard Stern, Kevin Hart, Busy Philipps, and Rob Lowe.

Corden, taking over 90s on 9, used his guest spot to chat about why he chose "You’ll Always Be My Baby" as the first-ever song on "Carpool Karaoke" in the episode he filmed with Mariah Carey.

"It was an amazing moment for me. It was amazing in a lot of ways because we got there and I don't think Mariah Carey had been told what she was doing or why she was doing it, given it was a show she didn't know existed, hosted by someone she'd never heard of before," he said.

"And she walked out of her house - I remember she had big sunglasses on and like a spearmint-colored sort of leather jacket - and she looked at me and she said, 'I ain't gonna sing today, baby. OK? So we'll just chat in the car,' and walked off and got in the car," Corden continued.

Corden, who also hosts the weekly interview series This Life of Mine on SiriusXM, recalled looking at the director and saying, "What are we going to do? This really does spoil the karaoke moment." And he was told to just "get her there, man."

It turns out that playing Carey's 1995 hit did the charm as the singer immediately sang along.

"See now, that’s not an accident. I know your act, I know your act," she said in the episode.

"Had she not joined in, I don't think The Late Late Show would've stayed on air, and I certainly don't think I'd be sat here talking to you right now. I will always be grateful to her," he added.
