Karl Stefanovic's subtle swipe at Meghan Markle after Queen's funeral
Today host Karl Stefanovic left his co-host Allison Langdon speechless when he took a subtle swipe at Meghan Markle's emotion during the Queen's funeral.
Speaking to royal photographer Chris Jackson on Tuesday morning (AEST), Karl suggested perhaps Meghan had not been crying, despite a photo where she appears to wipe away tears.
He claimed photos could perhaps be misinterpreted as to whether members of the royal family were crying or not.
"There's been lots of photos around and interpretations of photos and reading into photos [meanings] that may or may not be true," he claimed.
"There's a couple of Meghan, um, with a tear running down her face – apparently – and also even one of Princess Charlotte that everyone was saying she was crying, and we don't know if it was true or not."

When Karl said "apparently" while referring to Meghan, his co-host Ally was speechless as she smiled nervously before looking at him.
It came after Karl upset some viewers with a "tasteless" comment during a broadcast of the Queen's funeral on Monday night.
"Welcome to what is probably the greatest show on Earth farewelling one of the world's greatest," he said.
Some viewers expressed their shock over the comment, taking to Twitter to criticise the Channel Nine host.
"Greatest show on Earth .... really? Is that the right words Karl Stefanovic ... Bit tasteless to say that really," one said.
"Who is watching the worst coverage of the Queen's funeral? I had to change from Channel Nine after Stefanovic called it 'the greatest show on Earth'," another added.
Elsewhere in the broadcast Channel Nine presenters Peter Overton and Tracy Grimshaw were slammed for misidentifying UK's new Prime Minister Liz Truss as perhaps "a minor royal".
