Karl Stefanovic slams teens targeting his house: 'Enough is enough'

Today show host Karl Stefanovic has unleashed on teenagers who have been targeting his home, as a youth crime wave starts sweeping Australia.

Karl, who lives with his wife Jasmine and daughter Harper, three, in Sydney's Castlecrag, was interviewing private security expert Anthony Schaepman when he shared how it was affecting him.

"Enough is enough," he said. "This has happened to me, happened to my family. ‘I’ve had kids come to my house, doing things. I’ve got them on tape. I know who they are.

"I have to decide what I’m going to do with it. If I didn’t have that vision, I wouldn’t know what to do, and this would keep on happening and happening because the cops can’t be everywhere at once. It is only relatively minor offences."

He continued, suggesting if the youth crime was to continue it would have a huge impact on families, "Whenever the crime comes to their doorstep, whenever someone breaks into their car, whenever something happens that’s close to home, it has a tremendous psychological impact."

Karl reveals Jasmine's serious injury on European holiday

It comes after Karl returned from a holiday to Europe with Jasmine, with the host revealing she suffered a serious injury while away.

Speaking about the trip, Karl joked: "I'm rested, I've put on a couple of [kilograms] pastas, all that stuff."

He then shared the not-so-great part of the holiday, saying: "My wife broke her foot while we were away...It felt like her whole side of her body was broken."

"It must have been so hard for you," Jayne Azzopardi quipped.

The presenter jokingly added: "I had to give up a lot of my holiday [to look after] her."

Karl and Jasmine were in Europe for a wedding in Paris, with the Daily Mail reporting that he jokingly said on Sunday: "I'm fat and rested and ready to rumble."
