Are Kai Cenat and Magician Max Major Feuding After Viral Hanging Prank? The Drama Explained
Not all magic is, well, magical. Just ask Twitch streamer and YouTuber Kai Cenat, whose livestream took a dark turn on Tuesday night when he appeared to hang Magician Max Major for all of his 13 million followers to see.
Thankfully, Cenat did not actually hang Major, who bills himself a "mentalist," i.e. a performer who uses psychological techniques and misdirection to create the illusion of reading people's minds. On the contrary, Major himself orchestrated the the prank, seemingly as a way to get back at Cenat for "pushing" and "challenging" him in previous encounters.

Did Kai Cenat hang someone on live stream?
No. However, he did appear to hang someone on livestream, and that someone was Magician Max Major, who competed on Season 15 of America's Got Talent.
When prompted to pull one of two ropes, Cenat went with the one with the red handle, causing a shirtless Major, his head in a noose, to drop.
The whole thing was caught on livestream, where onlookers could be heard screaming and Cenat himself could be seen going into a panic. (Magician Max had not identified himself to the wider audience, but it appears Cenat knew who he was dealing with.)
You can watch the video of the moment below, but consider this your trigger warning, as the footage is disturbing.

What happened with Kai Cenat and Magician Max Major?
Magician Max Major staged an elaborate hanging prank on Kai Cenat's livestream, which has more than 13 million subscribers, making it appear as if Cenat hung him with the yank of a rope.
Cenat was visibly confused and upset when Major's body dropped. Although Major was the mastermind of the stunt, Cenat has caught some flak for his response to the shocking moment, which included him saying, "I might get banned. Is he good?"
What has Magician Max Major said about his hanging prank?
Magician Max took to YouTube to explain himself ... sort of.
"At the start of my performance, I said that tonight was all about choice, but not just the choices that you made tonight; the choices that you've made since the day that we met," he said.
The video then cuts to footage of Cenat saying he wants to catch Major "in his lies."
Major added, "You see, from the first time we met, you pushed me, you challenged me, you wanted to see me fail. And I thought tonight, I'd give you exactly what you asked for. You see, you thought the game was for me to influence you to make the right choice, when all along, I planned to influence you to make the wrong choice, and I knew you'd pick the red handle. You see, even when you're playing a game of chance, you have to remember who you're playing against. Because I decide who wins or loses."
TL;DR: It seems Major staged his fake hanging to get back at Cenat for a perceived slight from their past.
What has Kai Cenat said about Magician Max Major's hanging prank?
Cenat made his disappointment clear, although he urged his followers to move on.
"Let 'em go! He wants n****s to look… we just look like Black people that look crazy," he said.
"It ain't worth it, bro. Us screaming at him, we just look like a whole bunch of Black n****s that look crazy. So, let god handle that, bro."
Are Kai Cenat and Magician Max Major feuding?
It's unclear whether they're feuding, but at the very least, it doesn't seem like they like each other very much. It doesn't take a mentalist to figure that out!
