This morning, she shared the most stripped-back, relatable throwback photo to her Instagram, which doubled as a sweet birthday tribute to one of her dearest friends.

In honor of her friend Samantha Stone's birthday, the Gossip Girl alum posted a silly photo of herself blowing her nose, as Stone smiled beside her with one hand raised. In the snap, Lively appears to be wearing minimal makeup styled with her natural golden blonde hair. The actress is wearing a beige sweater decorated with stripes of silver sequins, layers of chain necklaces, small hoop earrings, and her massive wedding ring. Meanwhile, Stone dons a multi-colored cardigan over a gray T-shirt and a necklace composed of baby pink beads.

“Find you a girl who spends New Years with you while you’re snotty and have a cold but she won’t let you miss the fun so she brings it to you,” the It Ends With Us star wrote in reference to the Chief Membership Officer at Soho House. “Always. Because that’s who she is. Fun. Kindness. Goodness.”

And in a move on par with the sentiment of get you a girl who can do both, Lively made a striking appearance earlier this month at the 2024 LACMA Art+Film Gala in Los Angeles. The mom-of-four stunned in a semi-sheer minidress composed of metallic multi-colored rhombus-shaped chainmail pieces. The Tamara Ralph masterpiece was held together by shimmering diamonds and featured a low-cut back, plunging neckline, and itty-bitty hemline. For even more drama, Lively added a puffy, pumpkin-orange taffeta coat that bunched up at the sleeves and featured a trailing cape. Strappy purple heels and small hoop earrings completed her look. As for beauty, she wore rosy makeup and styled her hair in bouncy waves with a side part.
