Justin Theroux engaged to “Gilded Age” star Nicole Brydon Bloom

The "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" actor and the "We Were the Lucky Ones" actress were first spotted together in February 2023.

Justin Theroux and Nicole Brydon Bloom are tying the knot.

The Leftovers actor, 53, and the Gilded Age actress, 30, are engaged to be married, PEOPLE has confirmed. The outlet also reports that Theroux proposed in Italy, where the couple attended the Venice International Film Festival red carpet premiere for his movie Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Entertainment Weekly has reached out to representatives for Theroux and Bloom for further comment.

Bloom and Theroux were first seen in public together at a New York club in February 2023. The couple first appeared on Bloom's Instagram profile in a group pic in December 2023, and they later made their red carpet debut together at Vanity Fair's Oscar Party in March. Bloom's first appearance on Theroux's Instagram came in May, and the couple attended a second wedding ceremony for Naomi Watts and Billy Crudup in Mexico City in June.

Theroux discussed his approach to romance in an Esquire interview last year. "Having been in a public relationship, it's much more fun not being in a public relationship," he said, declining to comment further on his three-year marriage to Jennifer Aniston. "I want all of my relationships to exist within the four walls of whatever room we're in."

Bloom's first screen credit came in a 2013 episode of The Michael J. Fox Show. She later appeared in episodes of The Affair and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, and is best known for playing Maud Beaton in five episodes of The Gilded Age's second season. Bloom also appeared in two episodes of the Hulu series We Were the Lucky Ones alongside Joey King and Logan Lerman, and will next be seen in the thriller series Paradise.

Theroux is best known for his lead role on HBO's The Leftovers and his supporting performances in movies like Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire, and American Psycho.
