Julia Morris 'so happy' after incredible cosmetic transformation
The I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! star has undergone an eyelid lift.
Australian TV star Julia Morris has revealed she is “so happy” after undergoing a cosmetic procedure on her face.
The 55-year-old I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! host appeared on the Instagram page of Melbourne plastic surgeon Dr Andrew Greensmith, where he showed off before-and-after snaps of the host's transformation.
Julia underwent an upper blepharoplasty (eyebrow lift) five months ago, where excess skin is removed from the eyelids.
“This lady was happy to share her journey,” Dr Greensmith shared. “A really challenging heavy brow was the major contributor to the upper eyelid appearance. Not only can this surgery help improve some visual field compromise but what a wonderful refreshing and rejuvenating effect it has on the overall face.”

Julia commented on the snap, revealing she’s over-the-moon with her new look.
“Best decision I EVER made… you opened my eyes, on so many levels. This comment is not spon… just wide eyed praise & so happy!” she wrote.
In another post, Julia continued: “Thank you for making me look closer to how I felt. Best decision, I ever made. Didn’t make it lightly at all… my comments are not sponsored in any way… but I remain super grateful that I was in such gifted hands”
Dr Greensmith also shared a lengthy disclaimer about the procedure, saying that there is a ‘degree of risk’ with the surgery.
”Due to variations in the healing of human tissue, small imperfections may remain or develop over the course of time or due to healing and ageing. A small minority of patients (between 1-5%) may require minor revision surgery at a reduced or minimal cost depending on various factors,” he wrote.
According to Mayo Clinic, the procedure is done in an outpatient setting, usually with injections into the eyelids to numb them and drugs through an IV.
After the surgery patients might have pain or discomfort, swelling and bruising similar to having black eyes and light sensitivity.
Julia showcased her new look on the Logies red carpet last month. The star looked stunning in a white off-the-shoulder, long-sleeved gown.
Hours before taking to the red carpet, Julia opened up in a tell-all interview with Stellar magazine about the demise of her marriage to Dan Thomas, saying: "Let's just say I wasn't married to the person I thought I was,' Julia explained.
"I have become an Olympic medallist in running him down. But to be honest, I have been trying to stop doing that because I don't want to let him into my life at all anymore. I'm free.
"Unfortunately, I've had my eyes opened and I've had a big awakening about my people pleasing and what I will tolerate and how I see the best in people – and that's not always the truth."
The couple announced their divorce in May last year.
