Julia Fox Paired Ice Skate Heels With Tiny Hot Pants
I, Julia.
Julia Fox just gave a whole new—and quite literal—meaning to the winter whites trend. During a recent appearance on Late Night With Seth Meyers, the actress and fashion aficionado looked like she stepped right off an ice-skating rink.
During the January 21 episode, Fox sat down with Meyers for an interview while wearing a blue collared halter top, white hot pants, a white coat, and vintage heeled ice-skate boots from Dsquared2's Fall/Winter 2011 collection. While the boots looked like functional skates from afar—with laces and all—the shoe featured a towering wooden heel attached to a silver blade. Less winterized but equally quirky was her white Chopova Lowena handbag that featured a jar of Hellman's mayonnaise and a vintage silver spoon detail.
It wasn't just her outfit that was winter coded. The author's platinum gray bob was slicked back off her face to reveal a striking glam look that included a super pale foundation and white arched eyebrows.
Fox first debuted her long silver pixie earlier this month and revealed she "immediately regretted it" in a TikTok set to the viral audio, “Girl, don’t do it. It’s not worth it. I’m not going to do it, girl. I was just thinking about it. I’m not going to do it.” The video first shows Fox with longer strands holding scissors before cutting to a clip of her new chop as she mouths "I did it."
That same night, Fox swapped out her figure skater look for an all-black outfit that featured a leather corset, midi skirt, and oversized puffer jacket. Her silver strands were styled in a deep side part and tucked behind her ears, though, she kept her gray-and-white glam and arched brows from her appearance.
