Kit Harrington's harsh advice for Game of Thrones critics

Game of Thrones stars have broken their silence on the harsher critiques of the show’s final series - and some of them aren’t holding back.

Kit Harrington who brought Jon Snow to life in the blockbuster series has previously slammed the heavy criticism of the show in no uncertain terms.

“Whatever critic spends half an hour writing about this season and makes their judgment on it, in my head they can go f**k themselves,” he told Esquire earlier in the year.

“Now if people feel let down by it, I don’t give a f**k—because everyone tried their hardest.”

The actor’s harsh response may have been voiced back in April, but it’s more eyebrow-raising now than ever, as the show finished up amid heavy criticism and disappointment from its fan base.

The eighth season was plagued with editing fails from the Starbucks cup spotted in the third episode, to the water bottle that snuck into the show’s finale.

Fans also didn’t hold back with voicing their dissatisfaction with certain plot twists and character arcs, most notably slamming the decision to turn Daenerys into a mad queen.

Emilia Clarke who played Daenerys has also come out and admitted that her character’s twist, “...comes out of f**king nowhere. “

“I’m flabbergasted,”she told Entertainment Weekly. “Absolutely never saw that coming.”

Fans dissatisfaction culminated in over one million signing an online petition calling for the final season to be remade.
