ANOTHER editing fail sneaks into Game of Thrones
Game of Thrones’ eighth season can’t seem to catch a break between disappointed fans and terrible editing oversights, and the series finale is no exception.
A wayward water bottle has fans rolling their eyes more extravagantly than Bran, as the blockbuster series comes to an end, but not without sneaking in one last epic fail.

In the same season that a coffee cup made its way to Westeros, and Jamie Lannister’s hand miraculously re-appear, a plastic water bottle was among those present at the council meeting that decided Westeros’ ruler.
Given the series’ enormous budget of $15 million an episode, fans are understandably irate at the slew of editing oversights this season, and the latest is sure to stoke the fire.
The bottle peaks from behind a chair in a pinnacle moment in the series finale, somewhat distracting from gravitas of the moment.
Moments later Westeros’ history is changed for good, and now we know a plastic container was there to witness it as well as the remaining lords and ladies of the seven kingdoms.
It’s not the first time Game of Thrones has made a slip-up. Fans pointed out an unexpected reimagining of King’s Landing, as well as Jamie’s magical hand and the Starbucks coffee cup in this season alone.
Former king-contender Stannis Baratheon was also guilty of a gaffe.
He was caught sitting on a laptop charger way back in season five, right before he was killed.
The show’s recent episodes have come under fire from fans not just over the editing gaffes, but also over storylines that have been labelled ‘inconsistent’.
The series finished up with an unexpected final death, and surprise winner of the coveted throne in question.
